I have had tears pouring down my cheeks as I have been going through your web site. What can I say… I am sending this to all the editors of our magazines in New Zealand.

What a unique and fantastic project, to realise this through the wearing of beautiful sarongs. Your project is raising money but more importantly it brings awareness in the world.

Letsgotothebeach is a really cool project which I’ve pledged to support - I hope they get the target so production can begin. We have similar issues at our beach in Cape Town and also take bags to collect rubbish when we go for a walk. The wind is side shore though, so plastic doesn’t accumulate as much - which means that the awareness is not as high.

I have backed the project! and feel it’s an interesting and serious issue that should concern all who share this planet.

In Africa, countries facing the sea and big rivers there are no good organized waste removal and burning sites. They say they have it but in fact it is not working as it should be. The attitude of people there is the biggest problem, they just let any waste go by wind which eventually falls in the rivers and sea. Specifically countries like Nigeria which is tensely populated. It's a world problem.
